Note: The Gram Panchayat (Buyer) is the Data Controller, and MAJHIGRAM TECH PVT LTD is the Data Processor for all public data and citizen information published on the hosted website.

2. Information We Collect (Client Data)

We collect the following types of information from the Buyer solely for the purpose of contract fulfillment and service provision:

• Contact Information: Official Gram Panchayat name, address, phone number, and email.
• Billing Data: GST number (if any)

3. Use of Information (Client Data)

• To process payments, manage billing, and fulfill contractual obligations.
• To set up, activate, and configure the website and dedicated subdomain.
• To provide technical support, maintenance, and communicate service updates.
• To comply with legal, statutory, or regulatory requirements as mandated by Indian law.

4. Data Processing of Website Content (Website Data)

As a service provider, we host and process the content (data) that the Gram Panchayat (Buyer) publishes on its website via the Admin Panel.

4.1. Data Controller vs. Data Processor:

• The Buyer (Gram Panchayat) is the Data Controller and is solely responsible for determining the purpose and means of processing the personal data of its citizens (e.g., scheme beneficiary lists, meeting attendance, public notices).
• MAJHIGRAM TECH PVT LTD acts as a Data Processor and processes such data only on the documented instructions of the Buyer and as necessary to provide hosting services.

4.2. No Access to Content: We do not intentionally access, view, or utilize the public data or citizen-related information published on the hosted websites, except when strictly necessary for technical troubleshooting, security monitoring, or if required by law.

4.3. Data Security: We employ robust industry-standard security measures (firewalls, SSL encryption, regular backups) to protect the hosted data environment from unauthorized access, accidental loss, or destruction.

5. Data Disclosure and Sharing

We will not sell, rent, or trade Client Data or Website Data to third parties. We will only share data in the following circumstances:

• Legal Compliance: To comply with a valid legal process, court order, or governmental request.
• Service Providers: With third-party service providers (e.g., domain registrars, payment processors) strictly necessary for providing the contracted services. These third parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

6.1. Client Data: We retain Client Data for the entire duration of the contract term and for a legally mandated period thereafter for audit and tax purposes.

6.2. Website Data: The data published on the website is retained for the duration of the hosting contract. Upon termination of the contract, the Buyer is responsible for exporting their data. We reserve the right to securely delete all data from our servers after contract expiry.

7. Security Measures

We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of Client Data under our control. All data transmission between the Admin Panel and our servers is secured using SSL/TLS encryption.
